Nostalgia

His eyes wandered across the room, pleading to find something familiar. Being alone in the crowded hall was making him feel cold and uncomfortable. As he walked towards the fireplace, something caught his attention. He stood there and watched the lady in white, wearing an effervescent smile, and noticed the number of people trying to make their moments impressionable with her.

‘She still manages to get the bubbliness in her smile reach the eyes’, he thought and moved out of the room. Strangely, the air didn’t seem to be cold anymore.
