I only wish it was….
Imagine yourself in the lift lobby of your office basement. With no one around (not even the security guard), it looks dark and gloomy. You press the lift button and wait for one of the six doors to open. And while you are at it, one of the two tube-lights in the lobby goes off, thus adding to the morbid atmosphere.
Thankfully, one of the doors open and you rush inside. The lift door closes and you press the floor number. After what seems like an eternity and a haywire display of digits on the panel, the door opens. You run outside only to find yourself back on the basement.
You press the Lift button again. And the SAME door opens. You don’t get inside. Wait for the door to close, and press it again.
The same door opens again.
You wonder if there are stairs nearby. But since it is a new building and no security guard is in sight, you decide to use the vehicle-entrance gate to get out of this eerie situation…
And finally take some quick and deep breaths..
Doesn’t that remind you of one of those horror movies where the character is out there in lonely alleys where houses are without doors??
P.S: The following instances were exaggerated and blown out of proportions:
With no one around (not even the security guard)….
But since it is a new building and no security guard is in sight,….
And while you are at it, one of the two tubelights in the lobby goes off,…
