She pressed the SEND button on the email window and let out a heavy sigh. Exhausted by her own emotions, she got up and stood near the huge bedroom window to breathe in some fresh air. In the thick and opaque window glass, she could see the rough outline of herself – someone who felt distant and unrecognizable. She reflected a little more on the difference and found that the only thing separating her from the girl in the image was the golden glow of love. It would take only one step, one line, one gesture, and they could merge into one. But it was not to be, for she had given up on herself long back.
