Every one said she was the luckiest girl they ever knew. It always made her smile and nod in agreement.
What they failed to see through was the slight curl of her lips twitching with sarcasm.
Some times it helps to know what the other side went through/ thought of the entire partition scenario (between India-Pakistan). And though it is painfully uncomfortable at times, it helps to sit through it.
Just finished watching a Pakistani drama – Dastan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dastaan_(TV_series)) on Youtube.

So they don’t have money to feed our poor, or give us decent infrastructure, but can spend crores on something which is obviously a farce.

I haven’t seen anything more ironical than this. I am not denying the achievement of individuals who have struggled hard in life and succeeded. But that has been despite the system and not because of it.
Frustrating.
Life is tough.. difficult.. unmanageable at times – both at home or office. Do we then need to have this daily struggle as part of our lives? Is there any thing we can do, besides paying taxes and voting for the best among the limited options that we have?
